Gray Wolf Trading Company Native American Tipis Made In Montana

About the Tipi

Tipi is a Sioux word literally meaning "used to live in." I'm sure you can imagine that a structure designed to be packed all over the plains would provide more durability than is needed for the average family camping trip. The smoke flaps can be adjusted to better resist the wind and rain. The conic shape of the tipi affords a large floor space. The tipi is one of the most viable portable structures ever invented.
